This is my first Phoenix Wright fanfic. I'm sorry if it wasn't what you wanted anon-chan, but the idea bit me..

Godot's breath dragged out in rasps. It was all downhill from here...
if he was being honest with himself (and one's deathbed is no place to hide)it had been downhill since the day Mia had said,
"I'm sorry, Armando... I can't. We're co-workers, and..."
"Kitten, it doesn't matter! How can you say that even matters!" Diego clenched his fists tightly, one grabbing onto the hair on the back of his head painfully while gritting his teeth.
"I--" Mia cut him off unmercifully, her hot hand burning his mouth in a way that coffee had long ceased to.

"Diego...Armando, hush." She murmured with the palm of her hand over his mouth.
"This is neither the time nor place.... for either of us." Mia glanced away, then filtered a kiss to Diego's mouth through the back of her hand.

Later that day, Armando had gone to the courthouse library for a fateful meeting. He had thought, that if he gotten to the grounds of this thing... if he'd exposed the crazy bitch and put her away like a steaming mug of black magic, Mia would see he was serious. See that he could be mature enough to have a relationship and still get the work done....

That hadn't happened. He'd woken up, hair paler than the familiar mug usually in his hands, and nearly blind.

It had all been downhill. There had been a parade of visitors in what he could tell where his final hours... The last had been Wright.
Being near the fool was more painful than a scalding cup of blend #08 to the face. He sounded so much like her... moved so like her... acted so like her... he didn't understand how he could've been blind for so long. Heh.

Loss of sight was only part of it....it was getting even harder to see now.
So when he hazily focused on the brown eyes in front of him, it hardly mattered. When he felt the hands on him, it hardly mattered.

"Mia..." he murmured. It didn't matter that the hands were larger than Mia's could've been. It didn't matter that the lips on his were too rough and full for a woman. It didn't matter that the chest bumping against his thighs, later his own chest, was planed instead of curved.

The hands were strong, yet gentle and soft, intimate; knowing. The lips murmured his name softly, and moved just right on his. The chest lacking curves...had a heart that beat wildly against his own. It was strength; strength and vitality, fierceness. Fearless. Just like she had been... Godot hissed, arched and then fell back on the bed, limp.

His chest rattled, and he went to her.

It had been a long day of filling boxes, sorting out clutter and packing luggage but Mia was almost done packing. She recently discovered that she and a fellow dark haired, tan skinned and broad shouldered employee were unable to keep their hands, lips and assorted body parts to themselves at work. Another recent discovery, was that despite the many not-so-secret trips to the washroom and file room during coffee breaks and all the little encounters they took part in that they thought no one could see (a hand on a thigh here, playing footsie under the table there, an ass slap at every chance they got...), they were never able to get enough of each other. So, for the well being of their appetite (and their jobs), they decided she would be moving in with that fellow employee and now boyfriend.

The lover in question, Diego Armando, was folding clothes behind her on her bed as she shuffled through some old boxes in her closet. He had agreed to help her pack on the condition that he was allowed to pack her lingerie and a home cooked meal afterwards.

Bored with his menial task, he slipped over to the closet and slid his arms around her waist.

“How about a coffee break, kitten?” He grinned kisses along the curve of her left ear.

“Not now. I want to finish up before dinner time,” she squirmed and gave a light, playful slap to his cheek. “And stop that, I need to concentrate.” She resumed her shuffling and he stayed pressed up against her back. Surveying the closet, he reached into an adjacent box and randomly pulled out a sweatshirt donning three large Greek letters. Both his eyebrows propped up in surprise.

“Kitten, you were in a sorority?” Realizing what he had in his hand, Mia snatched the sweatshirt out of his grasp and shoved it back into the box.

“In university,” She was blushing; he could tell even though he couldn’t see her face. “I had lived in Kurain Village all my life and needed a way to make friends, volunteer opportunities, work referen-”

“Interesting….what did you have to do for initiation?” He was grinning like a Cheshire cat.

“Nothing like what you’re thinking!” She puffed up her cheeks the way her baby sister taught her. “And it was no big deal. I was only there for a year to make some friends, which as soon as I did I dropped out so I could focus on my academics and get into a good law schoo-”

“Hah!” Taking her distracted rambling to his advantage, he unattached himself and grabbed the forbidden box away from her reach.

This anon hasn't written for here, yet, but enjoys reading... and thought to tackle this prompt. Hope it is what you wanted, anon.

Phoenix could not believe Maya had talked him in to going to the Halloween party. He didn't like to dress up, and didn't have enough money to spend to get a costume. But Maya had provided him with the costume, and so, he was going. He wouldn't have agreed, if he knew who he was going as, though.

It was Max Gallactica's getup: silk hat, cloak and all. Maya had even gotten him a wig, and painted pink stars on his face. He was nervous about going shirtless, with just the jacket, but Maya assured him that no one he knew would be there. She said it was for her and her fellow Steel Samurai fans.

When he got to the party, he looked around. Most people were wearing various versions of the Steel Samurai's costume, though a few looked over at him and gave him a thumbs-up, recognizing Max's signature symbols. He felt ridiculous, but at least no one there knew him. Or, that's what he thought.

Miles Edgeworth was dressed up in the Steel Samurai's trademark silver suit. He had heard a commotion near the door, and looked around, spying some guy walking in with a Max Gallactica getup on. The guy wasn't half bad looking, really. He had a sculpted chest, and he looked good in that cape. He looked closer. It was Wright!

Miles blushed, thankful for the fact that his costume hid his face. Wright looked good! He walked over. "Wright, what on earth are you doing here?"

Phoenix started. "Edgeworth?!" He looked like he was about to die of embarrassment. Miles decided to milk the situation for all it was worth.

"Oooh, someone looks sexy in his pretty pink costume. Nice cape, though it seems to be missing the white roses." Miles was mildly inebriated.

"Darn it, I knew Maya was missing something," Phoenix mumbled.

"Ah, well, that explains why you're here," Miles mused.

"Right. And now I'm leaving. Bye." Phoenix dashed towards the door. Miles started after him. Maya saw Phoenix trying to escape, and blocked him, stopping him short. Miles didn't have enough time to stop himself from hurtling into Phoenix.

They collided and Miles sprawled backward onto the floor, loosing his mask in the process. Maya gasped. "Sorry, Mr. Edgeworth!" She rushed to go help him up, forgetting that Phoenix was in front of her. She knocked into him and sent him flying face down, on top of Miles, knocking the breath out of both of them.

Miles was having a hard time breathing. Not because Phoenix was heavy, that he could deal with. But he could feel the length of Phoenix's sculpted body along his, and Phoenix was squirming a little, trying to get up. Miles imagination started running wild. Oh no, not here, not now, he thought, trying to get himself under control. But it was too late. Phoenix had noticed.

On the ground, Phoenix felt something poking into his abdomen that hadn't been there before. Maybe Edgeworth's samurai sword had shifted? He was having trouble thinking; Edgeworth's lean body was pressed against his, hard and inviting. Then it struck him. Could it be? He looked into Edgeworth's face. It was bright red, partially with embarrassment and partially (he guessed) with arousal.

"M-miles?" Phoenix stuttered.

"Phoenix, I'm sorry - I - " Miles looked panic stricken. Without thinking, Phoenix leaned down and kissed him, interrupting his thoughts. A few moments later, they broke apart, breathing hard. "If I had known you liked me," Phoenix panted, "I would have done that sooner."

It's amazing what silk hats and cloaks can do.

Sorry that sucked.. anon's feeble efforts are probably not enough to satisfy the OP.

I'd like to see a fanfic where Edgeworth wakes up, blindfolded and bound with no memory of how he got there in the first place. Of course, this was all another person's doing, and of course, the person takes advantage of this. Add as much smut or pain or both to it as you'd like.

Bonus points if the person talks but doesn't reveal his/her identity.
